OUR TOOLS ARE MADE IN USA. FOR ALL FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VOLVOS. Including 4 cylinder (s40 v40) 5 cylinder, and 6 cylinder Volvo engines. Volvo 850, s70, v70, xc70, v90, 960 s90, s60 s80 c30 v40 s 40 v50. Camshaft alignment jig, Volvo part number 9995452. 2 flat brackets, with round camshaft bosses protruding at the ends.

These are used to align the camshafts against each other by securing the cam shafts at the distributor/ cam sensor- aperture end of the camshaft (That is the end that is opposite the cam gears, where the belt rides)- on the transmission side of the cylinder head. Via bolts that are provided in the kit, and with the aid of the G bracket you will attach it to the top of the valve cover. There are 4 bolts in the kit and 2 extra extensions for the camshaft bosses, for camshaft alignment on 2000 and later model Volvos. If you look closely at the pictures, you will notice that the the teeth on the bosses are not square tooth.

But rather GEAR TOOTH in shape. This was done because the corresponding area on the engine's camshaft is made for a GEAR TOOTH profile. It must be that way so the tool lines up the camshafts with 100% accuracy, and not 5-10 degrees off.
