I bought these from the local Black Diamond store a couple of years ago. Ice here has not been "in" more than a few days a year since purchasing and I've only tried them on one pitch. They are awesome but I have 2 other pair of leash tools so it's time to let these go. Hardly any wear at all on the tips of the picks, a couple of marks on the shafts from storage or carrying on my pack for an approach. One price gets two (2) tools.
